Trinamool Congress MLA Madan Mitra has stirred the political arena with an announcement, likening the forthcoming 2024 elections to the legendary Mahabharata, casting it as a battle between the Pandavas and Kauravas. In his statement, Mitra suggested that the political battleground would be no less intense than the epic Mamabharata conflict.
Mitra's remarks centered on the ongoing tussle between the Trinamool Congress and the central government. He asserted that the Delhi Police were scared by the resounding influence and vocal stance of Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamool's National General Secretary. Mitra suggested that this apprehension had led to the denial of permission for the party's event at Ramlila Maidan, though he vowed that the movement would persist despite this setback.
